Lending against the business, not the building.

Lines of credit, acquisitions, working capital and SBA 7(a), for Indiana businesses. Handled by people who pick up when you call back.

What we lend on.

Borrowing where the business itself is what is being judged. If a building is part of the deal, you want commercial loans; if it is a machine, equipment.

SBA 7(a)

Government-backed lending for working capital, an acquisition, or equipment. Normally a longer term and less money down than conventional commercial debt. Slower to put together, and often worth the wait. We place both 7(a) and 504, and both are explained on the SBA loans page.

Business acquisition

Buying an existing business, or one partner buying out the other side. The numbers that matter here are the ones the business already produces. We place these from $50,000 to $10 million, with the floor depending on the business, the transaction and the lender.

Lines of credit

Revolving credit you draw on when you need it and pay back when the money lands. For payroll across a slow quarter, stock ahead of a season, or a contract that pays ninety days after you deliver it.

Working capital

A lump sum against what the business already turns over, for a gap a line of credit does not cover. Shorter term than most business debt, and priced accordingly. We place it, subject to the lender’s requirements and the program.

Buying a truck or a machine?

Equipment is secured by the asset itself, which often works when a general business loan does not. That is its own page.

Most business lending stalls on paperwork, not on the numbers.

A file goes quiet because one document was the wrong year, or a schedule was missing a page, and nobody told you for a week. We read your file before it goes out, and if something is going to hold it up, you hear it from us on day one rather than day nine.

Not sure which of these fits what you are trying to do? Ask first. (317) 620-4100 Start an application

How a business file runs here.

Four steps, and you hear from us at each one. We do not put a number of days on any of them, because the honest answer depends on your file, the lender and the program.

We talk

Before anything is submitted, we want to know what the money is for and when you need it. That decides which lenders are worth approaching at all.

You apply

One secure application. Your documents go up once and are not asked for again halfway through.

We place it

Your file goes to the people who actually do your kind of business, whether that is our own lending or a lender we work with. We tell you what came back and what each one would really cost you.

You close or fund

You pick the offer. We stay on it through to funding and tell you before anything moves rather than after.

What to have ready.

Every lender asks for a slightly different set. This is the core of it.

  • Personal tax returns for the last three years, all pages
  • Business tax returns for the last three years, all pages
  • Business bank statements for the last three to six months
  • Year-to-date profit and loss, and a balance sheet
  • A current debt schedule
  • Valid photo identification for each owner
  • Business and entity documents
  • For an acquisition: the target business’s financials and the letter of intent
